Physical Description
A massive fire genasi with coal-black skin that glows like embers along his veins. His hair is a thick crown of flame held in check by rune-inked iron bands. One arm is visibly mutated—burned and hardened into volcanic rock from a ritual gone wrong. He wears a battered leather greatcoat over plate-mail scraps, etched with kill tallies. His eyes blaze like furnace glass.
Personality and Motivation
Dregar is fiercely loyal to Valentine Calico —not out of ideology, but because she spared his life and gave him purpose when no one else would. He believes in earned loyalty and real freedom—not dreams, not speeches.
He is a hero to the deckhands and officers alike.
He stays with Valintine because she gives his fury direction. If she falls, he will burn the sea trying to avenge her.
Fighting Strategy
Frontline juggernaut who thrives in the thick of combat. Uses Reckless charges, grapples, and AoE fear effects to disrupt formations. Brutal and theatrical. He wants the enemy to remember his name.

- Tideworn Cloak: Grants advantage on Intimidation checks while aboard a ship or after first blood is spilled.

- Allies within 10 ft gain +1 to damage and saving throws if Dregar is visibly injured.
Reckless Bloodlust
- Once per short rest, he can enter a fury: for 1 minute, he gains advantage on all melee attacks and intimidation checks, and crits on 19–20. At the end, he gains 1 level of exhaustion.
Fire Genasi Legacy (modified):
- Can cast burning hands (2nd-level) once per long rest. Flame never harms his body or clothes.
Brutal Presence
- When he kills a creature, all enemies within 10 ft must make a DC 14 WIS save or be frightened until the end of their next turn.

Multiattack:
- Dregar makes two attacks with his Hookblade or one with Hookblade and one with Gauntlet.
Hookblade Slash (melee):
- +8 to hit, 2d6+4 slashing + 1d6 fire
- On a crit: DC 14 STR save or target is knocked prone
Gauntlet Crush (melee):
- +8 to hit, 1d4+4 bludgeoning. On hit, may attempt to grapple.

- 4d6 fire in 15-ft cone, DC 14 DEX save for half.
Ashfire Bomb (from bandolier, 3/day):
- 30-ft range, explodes in 10-ft radius. 3d6 fire damage, targets that fail DC 13 DEX save are ignited for 1d4 rounds (1d6 fire each round, save ends early).
