Shonnaevi

The Shonnaevi (Shone-a-vie) are the standing army of the Elven Realm. They are tasked with protecting the realm, protecting Honduual, and providing stability for the Elven people as directed by the Queen.

Structure

The Shonnaevi are run by Adran Amakiir , a high elf that has served in the Shonnaevi since coming of age around 700 years ago. He had final say on troop movements, promotions, issues of discipline, tactics, training, recruitment, budget, everything to do with the army and defence.   Adran Amakiir has five generals that administer the different branches of the military.   The rangers are tasked with protecting the people from natural threats from the Feywild or the forests surrounding and permeating Elven territory. They are generally attached to a central location and range over a territory, calling in backup as needed.   The armed defence force is tasked with defending the territory against mortal foes, assisting with any manual tasks (such as disaster relief) that arise within the Realm, and patrolling the Choris. These duties also include general law enforcement and patrols within cities.   The shadow dancers are tasked with espionage, counter intelligence and prevention of external subtle threats from within Ambion. They work to keep tabs on the other Civilised Council races and prevent any threats from becoming realised.   The far travellers are tasked with attempting to find intelligence regarding the inhabitants of Terristra and the other islands on Zanthar. They are masters of illusion and deception, as any Elf found on Terristra will be killed on sight.    The star delvers are responsible for interplanetary exploration. They attempt to find new ways into other planets to explore them and check for threats and opportunities for expansion.
