Overview on playable cultures in Raios
This guide provides basic information on the cultures that are available to be playable in the World of Raios. Please note that this is a generic guide and can be used for all role playing game systems.
Check with your gamemaster when selecting the race of your character. Depending upon where the campaign is set, not all the races listed in this guide are well suited for player characters. In some parts of Raios, some races are found so rarely or have characteristics that will make them more difficult to play. For instance, the cold loving Draorn race would be advantageous to play in campaigns set in cold northerly climates, while trying to play them in the sweltering lands of the south would be difficult.
Playing a race that is common in the campaign area makes it easy for that character to fit in. Playing a race that is rare or non-existant in the campaign area can result in negative reactions or draw lots of unwanted attention to the character.
