These arid hills are defined by their red sandstone formations, sculpted by eons of wind and water. At the heart of the hills lies an ancient ruin of a once-great city now mostly enveloped by sand. This enigmatic site has become a magnet for greedy treasure seekers, drawn by whispers of magical artifacts, weapons, armor, and riches scattered amidst the crumbling structures.

Visitors are greeted by windswept dunes, their contours ever shifting, forming an eerie backdrop to the ancient red sandstone spires. Beyond the allure of treasure and history, the Nyeni Hills remain a domain of mesmerizing yet treacherous beauty. Climate: The climate of the hills is characterized by sweltering year-round tropical heat and arid conditions. The blazing sun beats relentlessly across the arid landscape. Rainfall is a rarity during summer, where months can go by without any significant precipitation. Only during the winter month does the desperately dry land receive sporadic light showers.

Wildlife: The undulating land is dotted with unique flora, where resilient and tenacious cacti thrive. Among them, several species of exotic carnivorous cacti pose an unusual threat, ensnaring unsuspecting prey with their deceptively fragrant flowers and alluring fruits. These cacti are protected by long sharp thorns that are coated with a fast-acting poison that can overcome a victim within seconds. Common animals include Camel, Antelope, Gazelle, Aardvark, Hyena, Warthog, and Ostrich.

Humanoids: There are no year-round humanoid inhabitants living in the Nyeni Hills.

Monsters: The Nyeni Hills are not without peril. Ferocious and monstrous creatures roam the land, fiercely guarding their territory against all intruders. Some adventurers have reported encounters with peculiar and dangerous humanoids, that are possibly descendants of the city's original inhabitants. Surviving in underground hand dug tunnels or in old subterranean ruins, these corrupted creatures live in a barbaric primitive tribal society amidst the ruins' desolation.

History: This region was once under the dominion of the Nyeni Sultanate within the grand expanse of the Kishari Empire, until the Great Cataclysm reshaped the world's destiny. During the Great Cataclysm, while the hills themselves endured, the region was subjected to the capricious wrath of magical chaos storms. These cataclysmic tempests swept through repeatedly, transforming once-thriving inhabitants into mutated horrors. The coastline witnessed only minor alterations, as the hills stood steadfast against the seismic turmoil and the subsequent tsunamis.

Today: The Nyeni Hills stand desolate and empty. Only wildlife walks the land in an area that once was a vibrant kingdom.
