Zhuma

✦ Overview

Zhuma is the elemental force of Spirit, Lucid Perception, and Soul Memory. It governs the non-physical current that flows through all beings: the part of self that dreams, remembers beyond the body, and knows beyond words. Zhuma is often considered the mirror of Rumara, as Spirit once flowed from Water in the earliest teachings.

Zhuma is practiced through dreamwork, resonance rituals, ancestral communion, trancewriting, and sound divination. It is central to Seers, Mediums, and Spirit Messengers across Rahmori.

Those capable of weaving Zhuma are known as Zhumid; Ide attuned to spirit threads, lucid space, and divine knowing.

Manifestation

Zhuma appears as:

  • Veils of light in sacred places where spirit moves freely

✦ Oppression & History

When the Council rose, they feared Zhumid for their uncensored access to truth. Spirit was banned, rebranded as dangerous mysticism. Many Zhumid were silenced or erased, and lucid practices outlawed.

Yet dreams remembered, and whispers always found their way.

✦ Rites & Rituals

  • Dream-ink recording
  • Ancestral Call (breath chant across generations)
  • Veil Listening (trance induced via cloth and whisper)
  • Soul Weaving (restoration of fragmented spirit)
