Mardim

Hailing from the somewhat isolated lands of Mar Cota, the Mardim are a withdrawn people that live in smaller kingdoms and republics, each of which is vying for power on the secluded island chain. This leads to a common sense of politics among the Mardim, and a the rivalry between them is the source of a strong understanding of empathy, philosophy and rhetorics. Mardim are oftentimes educated in either arts, politics, military strategy or philosophy, and if they become adventurers, they more often than not act as a moral compass and wise leader for their fellow adventurers.
