Caldim

Originally hailing from Teraloth, the fair-skinned Caldim have travelled great distances to the lands of Knorkalith, parts of the Ruins of Shadowdusk and many islands. They are contesting with Truin and Whitla to be the most widely spread Human ethnicity on the planet. The Caldim first conquered Mar Calda from the native Caldorians, who subsequently died out over an unknown period of time. They then used the island chain as a starting point for massive colonization on all major continents, and many islands. What made such a quick and vast movement of people possible was their quick and sturdy architecture, which they used to build wooden and stone castles that could withstand attacks of large scales, their great knowledge of metallurgy and smithing, their openness to compromise and trade and their understanding of magics and politics. Today, there’s nearly no human with not at least a small amount of Caldim blood in their veins, and the Empire of Laetharnia, one of the biggest human Nations in the world, was built and is populated mostly by Caldim.
