Today, five people with the capacity to fight banded together in this strange place they found themselves: the City on the Edge of Neverwhere. They found that most folks who exist there are kitsune, but the newcomers all have hand-sized crystals that look suspiciously like 8-sided dice. Siri licked theirs and was teleported, but otherwise, they seem to hold memories. The brave members of the party responded to an explosion and the appearance of a protective Mythal that kept the kitsune out, taking out a trio of Githyanki Rookies and a Chicken-Infested Commoner without gett (much) egg on their face! They were just about to look around when the world shook and a dazzlingly bright purple light flashed through...

Diving Into Argumentative Water
Expedition...and then passed over them, having taken two of their member with it. The remaining members continued deeper into the sub-basement only to find water that didn't act like water, or sharks that could swim in air (the Jury is still out on this), but fought them back. Rescuing a celestial porpoise who had named herself "Dana Delighter," the group proceeded to fight their way through the flooded sub-basement and destroy the Sharknado Caller that was apparently the heart of the Mythal. They also rescued an angel named Miranda who joined them. Along with Dana Delighter, the group began to think of a way out just as another massive wall of magical energy washed over them...

Civil actionWith the first Mythal now dealt with, the members of the group that remained after the strange mauve flash of energy made their way back into the City on the Edge of Neverwhere. To their surprise, there were now catfolk, as well as rivers and wells, some of which held fish! Taking residence in an abandoned Osenian Mansion in town, the group began the process of settling down. Zirmek and Coriolis took to the library in the home which was full of practical and magical tomes and allowed them to understand how to properly work the Arcane Forge next door to their new home. "There's never a hammer around when you need one..."
