Arborea

In comparison to the three "severe" upper planes, Arborea is a mildly-good aligned plane of greenery, beauty and kindness. As it is not as strongly aligned as the severe upper planes, it welcomes good outsiders of all alignment and as such usually boasts an incredibly diverse population. You can find metallic dragons lunching with spirits of kindness, run into intelligent animals having conversations over tea with simple farmers, and watch archons and angels and malakim discuss the finer points of philosophy.

The souls of the recently passed whose final reward is here generally find themselves walking onto the gentle beaches or sun-soaked grassy banks from the Syne, finding themselves lost in the gently wild beauty of the plane. It is not uncommon for Spirits of Kindness to be found waiting for the spirit of one who they rescued to be the first to hug them in the afterlife. Such souls commonly end up calling the Forest of Foundlings home. Others gravitate to one of the bustling metropolitan areas such as Platinum Gate -- especially dragons and dragon kin -- or find themselves a tiny plot of land to call their own and enjoy a pleasant afterlife in blissful solitude, or as one of the countless small villages that dot the landscape.

Divine Warren

Amidst the greenery and the sweet smell of orchards and berry patches in perpetual fruit you will find the Divine Warren, home of the Demigoddess Rose. In her domain are all creatures welcome, living in perpetual harmony in the Warren of Harmony, and training to defend themselves and others in the Warren of Discord. It is rumored to be here that the dreaded Vorpal Bunnies sharpen both their figurative and literal teeth.

Forest of Foundlings

Adjacent to the Divine Warren, you can find the Forest of Foundlings, home of the Demigod Thorgal and his Spirits of Kindness. Celestials on missions of mercy, especially rescue, come to the Forest to receive the blessings of the Spirits of Kindness, and those who suffer to save and protect children and spirits of kindness are also brought here to be healed by the tender mercies of the Spirits, or their common companions-in-healing the Cherubim.

Rutilante

Among the scenic beauty and majesty of Arborea, due south of Saludare, a cluster of distant peaks surround a massive valley in which a fiery desert gives way to a cozy coastal area of deepest azure. This huge valley ringed about by mountains that reach far enough into the sky that their tips commonly lie hidden in clouds is known as Rutilante, and it is the home of Bahamut and the rookery of metallic dragons. Metallic dragons of every stripe find themselves at home in Rutilante, as do the spirits of metallic dragons who have passed on.

Rutilante is fed by a river that pours from the Syne, bringing with it no small amount of gems and precious metal dust which gives the river its name: the Hoard. Continuing south, the Hoard River is navigable by barge and passes right by the Platinum Gate before flowing into the valley.

Platinum Gate

At the Entrance of Rutilante stands the vast city of Platinum Gate, which is filled with many a shape-changed dragon and dragon kin. Visitors know of Platinum Gate as one of the best places in the cosmos to purchase high quality metallic dragon scales shed by the many denizens of Rutilante, and the dragons in turn can interact with the denizens of the planes in less bulky humanoid forms.
