Fungatite

On a strange planet somewhere, botanists in their protective suits were consumed by the green flora they tried to study. They try to escape but they are stuck in a vessel which was once their bodies.
  The fungus referred to as Fungatite is a green coloured mushroom that spread spores when it senses nearby movement, these spores act as tiny parasites and easily enter any unprotected passageway and start growing inside the host, after infection the host will experience internal pain and nausea, once collapsing from the pain the spore grows around the host and use their lifeless bodies to tear protective clothing of other beings with the sole reason of spreading their spore, the host consciousness still remains but are unable to control their bodies.
  Fungatite can easily be cured by spraying Fungicide, which reveals the being consumed by the Fungus
  People cured of Fungatite are shown to have green skin with weakness in their bodies, they are also more afraid of light that mimics flame which is an instinct from the Parasite attached to them
