With the technology of the Headsets being used in almost every workplace, people who are mute can't communicate properly on the radio, The Communication gloves can fix that by wearing it and connecting it to a headset, it will track the hand movement of the mute person and translate it into the galactic common over the radio, it can also be used locally by using the personal PDA and downloading the Sign to Speech app which does the same thing except it translates it out of the PDA's speaker
