Hightrains

The hightrains are the main public transport of the commen domerican folk. Richer merchants and others and especially the TC-Council do not use them, for they have their own personal transportations and wagons.

The hightrains are built up high because the ground of Domeris' cities are fully built - there wouldn't be enough place for them anyways. If Domeris were to built the tracks on the plain ground, they'd have to get rid of the thousands of houses, bars, markets and so on.

The routes of the hightrains follow all across of Domeris, especially in Lesselingford , less in Peteudnum and almost none in Werfall.

These trains are the previous Coal Transport Lines . The Quatriat noticed the lack of basic transport in Domeris and had these trains built shortly before the war. They slightly redesigned them to not just transport materials, but people who needed it more (That's when the Coal Transport Lines were invented). If one looks at the hightrains, the design gives away for what they have been used for before. It explains the stiff seats and the narrow windows.

The follow up idea from the King to expand these tracks all across Quattvia took a long time to plan and proved difficult to execute. There were difficulties regarding the stable and solid ground and how to connect it with the neviromental problems.

In the end though, that plan was discarded of. That massive project got shut down due to the poisoned parts of Senlyox. King Evander said they won't go through the plan so long as the Senlyox poison isn't purged of completly.

So what was meant to be a grand and faster connection of the Quattvian transport became a way for the common Domericans to get where they want to within Domeris' limits.
