Elevators

The elevators (or also called carriages) that are meant to bring Domericans above- and below ground are the only public transport that is dividing class by law.

An important note is: The elevators have several levels they go to, regarding where they are located, they go down further of higher.

Divided by class there are restrictions as following:

• The upper class elevators: Pay the travel fee once a year and can use them at any time. This sort of elevators are personally controlled by operators who upon the traveller's wishes send them on the level they need to go.
• The lower class elevators: Pay the travel fee (provided at the booth) for a day or for a week or, if they have the money, for a month. This sort of elevators do not have personal operators. Instead, they travel to each level without missing one out.

Important note: Both types of elevators have guards stationed on the entranace and exit of the carriage to make sure the people get out before the doors close and that there are no casulties.
