Seed Oil

The seen oil is a powerful insect repellent and fungicide. When pests attack the leaves of crop plants, they are knocked away with water and spraying neem oil will help prevent pests returning.

- Mealybugs - Powdery Mildew - Sooty Mold - Termites - Whiteflies -
  It is also incorporated into shampoo, soap, lotion, and other skin care products.

Bark

Its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties make it a useful treatment for gum disease in mouthwash form. Traditionally, locals chewed the twigs for dental care, some still doing so as impromptu toothbrushes.   The sticky bark resin is commonly used as glue.

Cake

The pulpy substance that is leftover after oil is extracted from the seeds is an effective fertilizer and mulch, often used to discourage diseases like mildew and rust. It is sometimes used as livestock fodder in harsher winters in desperate situations.

Flowers

The flowers are known for their sweet aroma, and are popular in attracting honeybees. The flower oil is also valued for its calming effect. They are edible and often prepared with other vegetables

Fruit

Witha slightly bitter taste, neem fruit contains essential fatty acids, and is also a source of dietary fiber. The fruit is low in calories, and possesses anti-inflammatory properties. Caution should be exercised when eating neem fruit, especially in concentrated forms and can lead to gastrointestinal discomfort.

Leaves

In paste form, neem leaves are used as a skin treatment, primarily for fungus, warts, or chicken pox.   Dried leaves are often places in containers of oats to prevent insects and / or mold

Tender Shoots

They are edible and often prepared with other vegetables and fish paste.  

Wood

As a fast-growing tree that does well in poor growing conditions and drought-prone soil, it is used as a source of firewood for those unable to afford coal.

As Birth Control

Neem oil can put a stop to fertility in women for a year, if a small amount is injected at the junction where the uterus and fallopian tubes meet.   Neem oil can also kill sperms in the vaginal area. It does not alter the menstrual cycle or ovarian cycle, and can also protect the vagina from sexually transmitted diseases   Neem promotes reversible and temporary sterility in men if neem leaf tablets are ingested daily. It has no effect on sperm production or sex drive.
