Aftercastle - Great Cabin
Included on this level:
- Captain's Quarters
- Private Bathroom
- Workshop
Once the Punk was purchased, Kidd immediatly started knocking out walls in the lower floor of the aftcastle to make room for his workstations. He had to be reminded by his commanders that he really should leave a place to sleep, and begrudingly agreed - leaving the port side of the floor largly un-altered.
Design
They'd spend the day mapping out where they wanted things lain out on their new Home. They spend the night camped out on the wood floors of what was meant to be captain quarters. The following days would be more planning and logistics but for the night they snacked and smoked and drank and eventually watched as Kidd - high off his ass - started trying to divide up the room into some grand future workshop that lived in his head. Finally at one point, Heat pointed out that he'd left himself no room for his own personal space, asking where he planned on sleeping. Kidd - straight faced - just stated, "I'm not gonna sleep - it's fine." Which prompted Killer to get up and coerce Kidd into siting back down with them. He was passed out and drooling on Killer within 20 minutes. |

Entries
The Stern Castle opens to a small hallway, the door to Kidd's Workshop on left, the stairwell to the Bridge on the right, and the door to his quarters tucked between it and the mast.
Kidd's workshop has taken up the entirety of the starboard side - open archways where doors once stood until it reaches the back where Kidd's private washroom is located. it's a simple set up, taking the back corner up with a large clawfoot tub, toilet, and extra wide sink. IT then opens into a large walk in closet, and then Kidd's sleeping area.
Architecture
Despite the look of wood - the open cannon deck under the stern castle is reinforced with steel and concrete - and the stern castle is built with brick and stone, with wood used only for ladders and stairwell, and some furniture.
Defenses
Early in the V.PUnk's procurement, Kidd removed the wood where he could, replacing them with metal cladding walls, steel and concrete floors with tiles and then rugs in the living quarters. He made a point to reinforce the doors and walls of all the bathrooms to be siege proof from the outside, with escape measures available to those inside the room in case of ship sinking.
