Universal Laws of Reclaimed Earth

Section 1 - Right to Always Arm
  The Morose affliction has left humanity on the brink of extinction. As a result, the preservation of human life is paramount to the survival of our species, especially within a new Earth ridden with unnatural Caelus-stricken horrors. Under no normal circumstance is a working being of sentience to be left without means of self defense. To be left unarmed is considered a violation of one's human rights, which is to be reported by the person or thing to local UEC representatives. Punishment includes compensation to the victim by monetary reinforcement, and/or the swift provision of a weapon if they choose to continue working beneath the offending company or organization. These expenses are to be covered by the workplace the victim is employed by.
  A weapon is considered any tool or object with a blade or firing mechanism that can be controlled to prevent any unnecessary casualties to unoffending personnel. If one or both of these requirements are unmet, the person is considered unarmed and legible for reimbursement.
  An exception to the Right to Always Arm is only possible when the offending victim in question has committed a crime resulting in the loss of human life. Any weaponry is not permitted on their person only if they are within a government's detainment facility.
  Section 2 - Offworld Territories
  To manifest destiny is of human nature. The Sol System is humanity's next frontier, and the UEC permits the claiming of land on other planets suitable for life. Boundaries between offworld territories are to be treated with the same regard as they are on Earth. Each country is left to their own discretion on how to deal with offending trespassers. The planets suitable for declaration are:

• Mercury
• Venus
• Earth's Moon
• Mars and its Moons

Due to the volatility and dangers of Colonized Space beyond the ring, the political claiming of offworld territories outside of the Asteroid Belt is prohibited. However, if a company or organization is willing to accept a material tax on behalf of the United Earth Confederation, the UEC will allow an exception provided that a permit is legally acquired. 
  Section 3 - Large Scale Conflict
  Disagreements leading to war are unavoidable to mankind. The UEC acknowledges this, and will not interfere with governments waging war. However, any conflict between second world nations and higher are to be settled away from Earth. Offending nations tarnishing Reclaimed Earth will be dealt with swiftly utilizing the full scale of UEC's might, until a surrender is negotiated. Fines and UEC imposed sanctions will be given to the offending nations, up to a maximum of 10 years. 
  When engaging in a large scale conflict off-world, all losses on either sides are to be accounted for. In addition, no weapons of mass destruction are permitted anywhere within the Sol System. Weapons of mass destruction include, but are not limited to: 

• Nuclear Weapons
• Caelus Engineered Explosives (CEE's)
• Antimatter Weapons

If a world power is found utilizing any of the aforementioned weapons in a conflict against fellow humans, severe penalties and the potential termination of a nation's sovereignty will be issued. In addition, any of the offending countries' assets will be forfeited to the victim's side. This includes land, solar units, and anything else of value.
