Cosmic Enterprise of the Americas

Overview
Brought to fruition around the early 2200’s, the Cosmic Enterprise of The Americas is a culmination of American government remnants. Focused primarily on rebuilding a free market and expanding to the stars for continued profit, the CETA is the hub of any economic activity in North America. Dealing with the Mobile Purification Unit and the Vinculum, they maintain a feigned truce with both factions. Secretly, however, the CETA has been implementing Caelus into their continually growing military to eventually conquer both the MPU and Vinculum, absorbing them into the Enterprise.   Currently, the CETA has been fighting for the rights to mine Thaumite on Mars. Challenged by the Xiang Empire for said rights, many within the CETA have driven for open and total war against those who would deny them their spatial manifest destiny. Any and all attempts to compromise have been denied entirely by the CETA. Tensions have been at an all-time high, the tiniest disturbance would send these two powerful factions to brutal conflict.     Timeline   [2140: The Wild West] The Fall had left the Americas a ravaged, post apocalyptic shell of its former grace and glory, the many years of progression and invention lost. However, once the Resurrection had occurred, the Americans discovered an ideology that had been such a large and important part of their ancestors long ago; The voluntary transaction and trade of monetary capital for material goods and services, simply know as Capitalism. This idea took hold and nested deep into the hearts of the Americans who were still alive, fair trade and voluntary transaction, it allowed for groups to interact peacefully and trade among each other without the need for violence, the foundation block of this Neo American society. Initially, everyone subscribed to the idea of anarcho-capitalism, capitalism unchanged by government or state. As such, people would band together to form groups known as Corporations, these companies would produce some sort of product to be sold, or provided a service. 15 years into the Resurrection and these groups were able to do minor scale production, the wheels of industry slowly spun, as the rediscovery of technology lead to greater and more efficient methods of production. Corporations were able to manufacture munitions, firearms, even vehicles at times, housing and architecture became its own market as workers required shelter nearby their workplace, and as cities grew, soon workers would need transportation to quickly get to work or to shop around for necessities around town. This system of anarcho-capitalism lead to a sort of feudalism as city states made up of several smaller companies and corporates were established, it was essentially the building blocks of society, as towns and cities reconstructed old buildings or created entirely new homes and buildings over old ruins. These City-States would be alliances between companies and would co-exist to provide logistical infrastructure and protection among one another, these City-States would be come to be known as Conglomerates. Conglomerate would often wage small scale skirmishes and war with one another over profitable land to expand over or simply to seize another company's assets and resources, however Companies that existed in same Conglomerate would sometimes fight with one another, this was not often, as it ended up hurting themselves in the long run.   [2168: Society Redefined] A conglomerate would be established when a small group of corporations existed near each other, and the wealthiest company of the group would dominate the others in their local markets, often undercutting their competitors till they were bankrupt and were forced to sell their assets to their competitor. The wealthiest company would then buy all their assets and expand, until all the local companies existed in their wing. The company at the top would be known as the Parent Company, and all other corporations beneath them would be Subsidiary Corporations. These Parent companies would then form alliances with other Parent Companies forming a Conglomerate. As time went on, Conglomerates grew exponentially, meaning they would become more effective war machines, their industries grew, and so did production of their Private Military Companies, bolstering their might meant even more devastating wars and conflicts. Out of the chaos emerged a handful of Megacorporations that dominated the soon to be lands of the American Enterprise. These Megacorporations would be known as;

These five Megacorps dominated the majority of land and territory and soon, they would send their private military forces towards one another in order to steal it all for themselves, creating a war so large in scale that it hasnt been seen since the wars of the old wars, obvious it wasn't extremely massive, but compared to the conflicts of the modern day, it was huge. This conflict was known as the Second Revolutionary War.   [2175-2190: The Second Revolutionary War] While the Second Revolutionary War wasn't a war of liberation against an overseas tyrant, its often cited as the birth of a new and world defining state, being that of the upcoming CETA.   The SRW was fought for roughly 15 years among the five Megacorporations of America, a decisive war which saw the creations of important and valuable technologies, tactics, and strategies, but most importantly it had introduced CETA's mainstaple warmachine later into the war; the Exoskeletal Armored Power Suit, or ExoSuit. First fielded by Johnson Industries as the M1-EAPS Jaegerhund, Deployed against the Harfon-Yoitsu who gave Johnson Industries the hardest fight. The Jaegerhund preformed better than expected, the users gracefully prancing through the battlefields, littering the grounds with corpses of the enemy, nullifying the light firearms of the typical soldier, terrifying the enemy and breaking morale. However, it wasn't long before each side began producing their own ExoSuits, but the Jaegerhund being the first and most effective in battle was the one that became the poster boy for ExoSuits. As conflict continued for fifteen, the Megacorporations decided to look eye to eye and end the conflict with the signing of a cease fire.   [2191: Ratification of the Washington Concord] The CEOs of each company would meet together at the historical city of Washington DC where they would talk peace, and eventually create the Washington Concord, the document that united the five Megacorporations into a single entity known as the Cosmic Enterprises of The Americas. The Washington Concord is essentially Articles and Clauses of regulations and rules that establishes fair grounds for healthy capitalism between the Megacorporations and smaller companies within the Megacorps as competitors, it strictly prohibits warfare or violence between affiliated corporations, with heavy penalties for the party that instigates war. For this, the CETA Business Tribunal was established, a supreme body of judges which settled disputes between companies in order to prevent violence, utilizing the Authority of the five Megacorps.   [2205: Newfound Prosperity] After the establishment of CETA, it didn't take long for all five Megacorps to adapt to each others infrastructures and continue runing as usual. However, with all Five megacorps united, it created a new age of prosperity, wages were high, prices were low, and people had disposable income to chase after their own projects, allowing for the creation of the entertainment industry and markets, leading for some unexpected advancements in computer technology (as demands for those hot holographic strippers grew), culture, and a rise in demand for instant communication grew among the population, giving birth to the Neonet, essentially a rebirth of the Internet, but vastly superior and only improving thanks to the competition that capitalism naturally sports. The Neonet would become the precursor of the Extranet, as space travel became a new field of interest for entrepreneurs, and soon the private sector.   [2230: To the Stars] Decades went on as wealthy individuals and companies set their eyes onto the stars. Initially, only those rich enough could fly into space, however this gave rise to a new marketplace and demand for space flight. As such, new companies arose, giving its patrons cheap and affordable flights to orbit, even the construction of several satellites and civilian space stations, allowing people to vacation in orbit, with cheap rooms of only 300 Credits per month! Soon efforts expand as companies wanted to begin colonizing celestial bodies not only for more tourists and real estate, but to exploit resources and further science, everyone had their eyes on the Moon, and that's where they went. Establishing the colony of Nova Luna, starting off as a mere science outpost, slowly growing to a small settlement and eventually bustling into a colony.   [2240: The Space Boom] The effects of the singularity showed, as just a few years after rediscovering space flight, companies already began utilizing newfound knowledge to produce vastly superior vehicles. The most legendary of these corporations being the United Starfaring Guild which produced some of the more iconic and best designs, and are still working even today. These new spacecraft were not only cheap and affordable to the average man, it allowed the average joe to finally become an independent space explorer, it was a massive revolution for technology, much like how Ford's Model T was a gamechanger; so was this.     To add to this, CETA has employed Mobile Purification Unit mercenaries to aid in battle alongside their almighty navy and army. Continuous manipulation of Caelus energy has led some within the CETA hierarchies and mercantile-nobility to realize greater aspects of the universe around them, though their gluttony and hedonism still run rampant. Implementing barely controlled energies and matter into military technology is now the status quo, even standard-issue weaponry showing traces of Caelus enhancement. Bullets, machinery, weapons of total annihilation. The CETA has now tampered with the balance of things, causing many of its investors to come to the conclusion of foul play. Even if rumors and ghost stories persist, the unified might of the Americas demands loyalty through fear and trust simultaneously, it's mysterious President the most praised leader in centuries. Ruling with a golden fist, the President commands one of the mightiest powers in the sector from the shadows; from behind his entourage of snake-like agents and aristocrats.   [2253:
