Ancestor of Agony

A circular cavern, one thousand feet across. Massive tree roots twisting and turning overhead and all around like pillars. Floating lights dance between the roots.

Purpose / Function

The Ancestor of Agony is connected to the Dream Tree. It absorbs all of the pain from the dying trees in the Forest of the Ancients to protect the Dream Tree.

Anyone proficient in Nature must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 20) or suffer short-term madness.
