Personal history
John Buckwalsh was born and raised in a small town in England by and English family. They moved to Mammothitus when John was 9 and a half years old to grow their fishing business. John quickly became friends with lots of people, but became best friends with a strange Indian boy named Farokh Patel. By senior year, John got a scholarship to Central Mammothitus University to play football, and convinced Farokh to apply for an educational scholarship so they could go to school together. John graduated with a bachelors degree in exercise science. John dropped football and went into professional boxing where he would later go 54-0 before retiring to join his friend Farokh's gang, The Dakoo. He took on the name Riptide and he and Farokh went across Mammothitus and other large cities across the world searching for supervillains to recruit. They were successful and brought back multiple supervillains and successfully stole drugs, weapons, and technology for over 20 years. His friend Farokh took the name The Puppeteer and created a supercharged steroid called Vitalium that is said to enhance a human's strength and durability by up to 50x. John used this for years and it allowed him to go toe to toe with multiple superheroes.
