Ambusher

A fair fight is not worth to be fought.
Combats are won before they start, by planning, and by exploiting the element of suprise and the surroundings.
You are adept at planning and detecting Surprise Attacks.

If you are staging an ambush or suckerpunch, roll Smarts & Tactics to make a plan and coach your allies, and if you succeed, the GM suggests you the best way to carry out what you intend to do, and you get the following benefits:
  • Everyone in your party gets a +3 to their Agility & Sneak rolls if you are ambushing.
  • Everyone in your party gets a +3 to their Manipulation & Deceit if you are suckerpunching.
  • Everyone in your party gets a +2 to their attack rolls in the first round against targets that are caught by surprise.
  • You can position up to 2 characters in a farther location, where they won't participate in the ambush or suckerpunch (first round), but will be able to join the combat in the second round. Hence, they do not require to roll Agility & Sneak or Manipulation & Deceit.
These benefits are lost if someone in the party doesn't stick to your plan.

If you are detecting an ambush or suckerpunch, you have a +3 bonus to your Perception & Notice or Smarts & Sense Motive rolls.
