Arsinoe Pirelle (a.k.a. The Last Guardian of the Lush Forests)

INTRODUCTION

Arsinoe is a mysterious forest nymph, a guardian of all things of nature. With a lengthy lifespan, the longest of any creature created by Loscin in the beginning, Nymphs are tasked with the created order in check, making sure everyone does not harm the creation or get harmed by it. Arsinoe is the granddaughter of the queen nymph, the original created mother of all nature by Loscin. Born in the early second period, she is one of the youngest Nymphs to have seen the end of the Eternal Empire.   EARLY LIFE

In her early life, Arsinoe was trained to keep the northern half of the Lush Forest, now called the Forsaken Forest. Her father was the son of a commander in the Archian Army, the first battalion of Archers ever created. Her mother was Raphnise, the third daughter of the great queen, making her the heir to guard the third greatest nature realm in all of Eteanal, the Lush Forest. After the fall of the Eternal Empire, the original Graineag nation, Raphnise took the divine ferry to the sky realm, leaving her only daughter Arsinoe in charge of the entire Lush Forest, which had now collapsed into a order less chaos.   THE CHARGE OF A GUARDIAN

Having received the second largest forest in Eteanal in a state of chaos, Arsinoe was tasked with placing the nature realm back into order. Too young and inexperienced to manage such a task, Arsinoe kept to herself, building a hut in the very northern part of the forest and letting the state of nature take its course. The Forest became uninhabitable, except by all kinds of dark and formless demonic creatures, giving it its nickname: The Forsaken Forest. With the Keepers taking the Bloom Spire and setting up their fortress of operations in the northern parts of the forest, Arsinoe was forced to exile herself to the Cordal Coast, where she stayed in the shadow of the forest for nearly two thousand years.    RETURNING TO DUTY 
 
 After the Second Great Magic War, the merciful council managed to kill all five of Kor'non's Keepers and drive the demonic forces out of the forest. This gave Arsinoe the opportunity to return to her homeland, and attempt to save what was left of the original order of her nature realm. The forest was nearly a third of its original size, and thus, with her now aged wisdom and experience, Arsinoe was able to manage the entire realm more suitably. Graineags and Chambraids alike have returned, but she still remains reclusive, as the return of the Keepers threatens the persistence of light and nature in the Forest.

Education

Arsinoe was trained in the art of guardianship of nature realms, which is the purpose of the nymph race. All her young life, she was educated on how to do her job properly, but when her mother abandoned her at just 700 years, Arsinoe wasn't fully educated. This led the forest to deteriorate and create abnormal life. The education of Nymph daughters is an incredibly important task which decides the fate of the six nature realms of Eteanal.

Mental Trauma

Losing her mother and the entire forest in just a few years, Arsinoe experienced massive mental trauma. This in part led to her reclusive nature. She doesn't attach herself to anyone, for fear of being abandoned and left vulnerable again. In recent years, she set out to change this and fix the forest, but it was an impossible task.

THE FEARED SWORD OF HALANDROME


Although Arsinoe is a nymph, who typically don't wield any sort of physical weapon, she is also the daughter of a powerful warlord of the ancient Archian Empire. She wields the sword of Halandrome, the fabled commander of the first ranger battalion that discovered the northern lands of Fondalar. The sword itself is not magical, but it is commonly thought to have been lost. With the nature caring from her mother, and the insane strength of her father, Arsinoe presents a massive challenge to any magical being in the northern lands of Min'usu'une. She is one of the last nature guardians, but with her power, greater than any other realm guardian, there seems to be no end in sight for the watcher. She's already lived almost four thousand years, and could easily last another two or three thousand.
THE LANTERN OF THE FOREST
Arsinoe inherited a lantern from her mother, containing a portion of the last magic of the heavenly nature realm. This allows any darkness around her to diminish and recede. This lantern is why the Keepers fear the guardian and seek to kill her, but her reclusive nature saved her from a vile death from Kor'non's minions. The lantern not only possess magic power, but also represents her position as guardian of the forest. Whoever holds the lantern holds the power of the forest and the order of all the nature realm. Arsinoe's greatest task is to not lose the lantern to anyone who would seek to use it for harm.
