EmeraldClan Camp
EmeraldClan's camp lies behind the great falls. It is inside a cave behind the waterfall itself. The waterfall falls onto a rocky surface, which creates a hidden path into the cave. It then pools into a small stream that requires the cats to swim or use the stepping stones. The warriors den is on the immediate left, made in a crevice in the stone. It looks much deeper than it actually is. To the right of the cave mouth is a small island. There is a small patch of herbs growing in neat rows. The Shaman's Den is nestled in a cave hollowed out under glowing blue crystals and stone. There is a small antechamber that leads to two dens. One is for storing herbs, and the other is where the Shaman sleeps.
In the center of the cave lies a large boulder where the clan gathers to share tongues or listen to their leader. There is a gargantuan skeleton that lies along the wall of the cave. The clan leader's nest has been made in the creature's skull. The elders have made a home in the ribcage of the massive creature. These dens have been fortified with shrubs and tumbleweeds for privacy and defense
Flowers and stalagmites hide the nursery from sight. Several large dens have been formed throughout the thick layers of stalagmites.
At the back of the cave there are four craters embedded into the ground. These craters provide dry places for the fresh kill pile, extra bedding, or even a place to nap.
Defences
Large waterfall creates a narrow entrance, multiple choke points and places to hide.
History
This cave was once the home of a large drakonid creature. The craters in the cave were once nests for the drakonid's clutch. Emerald found this cave centuries later and claimed it for her new clan.
Climate
The cave maintains a steady temperature of 60-70 degrees year round. The consistent temperature allows the clan to be active nearly all hours of the day. EmeraldClan is able to do a substantial amount of their hunting during the day. They eat primarily fish, which allows them to stay close to the rivers to remain cool. Patrols are usually sent out in the evenings into the night.
