As editors say, if you really want to get into the business, you gotta show it! Take a camera, something to take notes and a deathwish, because that’s the only way you are getting an unpaid internship anywhere.

Their Goals

Most authors here get their name passed around at important dinners, and the guests aren’t all into the news either. All publishers gather every month and everybody wants in. Whether you want to publish a cooking recipe book, if you don’t have any relatives that can help you out, you’re going to need to do some field work yourself. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a career without taking that many hits to the head.
