A small figurine of an owl, carved from what appears to be petrified wood.
Like other Figurines of Wondrous Power, this figure can become an owl for up to 12 hours. The owl has truesight within 120 feet and recalls everything it has seen with perfect accuracy. As an Action it can be commanded to alert or observe.
Alert. The owl functions as an Alarm spell warding an area it can see rather than a 20-foot cube. When triggered, the owl screeches as an audible alarm.
Observe. The owl remains in a specified area or follows a specified target and silently observes everything it can see and hear. While observing and not moving, the owl has the invisible condition.
When the owl is perched on your arm or its figurine is held in your hand, you can recall anything the owl has seen or heard since it was last activated as though you had witnessed it yourself.
