The worlds gem

The Worlds gem is a massive jagged volcanic mountain that juts out of rocky and rough volcanic bad lands . The volcano is one of the biggest in all the planes , it is pointed at multiple points and looks like multiple fused pillars of jagged crystal. The mountain just strait up and lacks much of any slope. The mountain is made of pure crystal running all the way to its molten volcanic core . The crystal is a very light clears cyan with purples and yellows reflecting of its highest and sharpest points . Deep into its core bellow the crust is the volcanos heart . A mostly hollow cavern filled with pools of molten larva and crystal . Flooring around the caverns tide pool like system . This area is also where the volcanos master Carafax reside. 
Surrounding the volcano is an expanse if harsh black rock bad lands with rivers if larva and clouds of ash . The craggy ravines of the land are filled trickle with larva and hold the ruins of a lost civilisation that once called the land there home . The walled are carved stone and despite being untended for centuries despite the scars they stand proud . The land is a scape of black rock , grey skies and red water some often mistake it for hell . They are not far off . 
Surrounding the volcano is a ring of black clouds . These clouds are no ordinary ones though . They are made of magma and brimstone ash . As the volcanos magma rises and shoots out the crystals magical properties formulates them into clouds of that drip molten magma onto the mountain and its surrounding landscape . These wondrously horrific clouds despite the magma rain act as normal floating around the mountain in a constant vortex . They even follow weather patterns also raining obsidian and having massive storms of purple lighting that could frighten even Sora goddess of the skys .

Being a Barron wasteland of magma the land dose not support much life . However the land is home to some life that has by some miracle or mistake made the land its home. The land is home to many species of red dragon from drakes , wyvern worms to folks of red dragons. There also is a span of fire type elementals that dot the land . There is not much in the way of plant life except volcanic char trees and the rare molten lily.

Among the common phenomena of places of high magical energy such as elementals dragons and external weather the mounts structure Itself is a miracle . However its biggest phenomenon is the clouds of magma rain that prowl the land.

The climate of the land is unliveable hot . No water can exist there and even the heat of the wind is enough to scorch you .

The only two flowers that grow there are the Volcanic Char tree and the magma lily . 

The mountains natural resources are a bountiful and breathtaking amount of minerals and metals firm precious items such as gold , silver and jewel . To useful ones such as iron, adamantine and Giosen steel . As well as the mountains crystal is very very valuable to its colossal abundance and unique material and magical properties.

When the mountain was first discovered by the dwarfs the land was very different lush fields , bountiful wild life and the breath taking mountain witch they named the jewl of the world. From the mountain and its surrounding hills the dwarves mined and crafted many many treasures enough to make the god Giaos to prows . However this caught the eye of the Ancient dragons carafax. Carafax wanted these treasures and so took them . He burnt their kingdom down and stole all he could and made them his slaves however they dared to rebel against him so he forced the volcano to erupt permanently destroying the land . He then laid in his new home . Many adventure and dwarven kingdom has tried to slay the beast and retrieve the many many treasures but no has ever returned.
