Draconic corruption

Draconic corruption can only be developed through the consumption of draconic flesh and blood . Many mortals eat the flesh of dragons in an attempt to gain its massive power . The more your consume the faster or more likely the corrupt is to take hold .

As soon as you consume a dragons flesh or blood you have the chance to start developing the disease . The more powerful the dragon or the more you eat increase the chance . It start’s through a power boost to your strength , agility and durability with you developing claws , scales and unique eyes .

I’m nice the corruption starts draconic traits start appearing over the body such as scales , eyes , claws teeth and in rarer cases tails and claws . However this slowly develops into a nasty disease as soon as the symptoms start it’s a ticking clock to death . Many don’t even survive 6 months however stronger beings can hold the power longer some even living years with the disease. However you body will start to degrade no matter what as your flesh starts to break down due to the overwhelming power. Some symptoms include insanity , organ failure, blindness , thin blood and flesh rot.

Wile the disease has no known cure it is speculated that the cure lies in the ancient dragon born tribes as legions says they were once afflicted with the disease before finding a cure and become half dragons. However a temporary fix that helps keep the disease at bay is the drinking of dragon blood witch can slow down the process

As far as the modern medical community is concerned the disease is 100% fatal with only a very small % of people living more than 3 years with the disease.
