Bearwood is a loosely run city with its governmental head its lord taking a back burner approach to the ruling of the city allowing for organised crime and groups such as the mercenary Union and other battle guilds to take control

It was once stated by nightlias great general that " attacking Aberan in the winter is foolish attacking Bearwood at all is suicidal."

Bearwood has little industry outside of weapon and Boat manufacturering

Infrastructure

Being the 2nd most populace city in the tsardom its has a mass of sprawling unorganised houses that bleed out from the center of the city. It is a mess roads and with the exception of the spinal road that runs through its senter nearly impossible for normal carages. Most buildings are made of woof and stone with thatch roofs. There is no external wall and no clear districts.

Assets

The city has an abundance of 3 things. Warriors, wood and bears. With the city breeding and training both miniature ursens for pet like use and war bears for combat. The city also has a port but little outside if food and coming through it. The biggest export of the city js hired muscle with the ursen mercenary bring the biggest and most desired out there. With the city often training use of soldiers and caravan protection as a trade incentive.

Guilds and Factions

The mercenary Union is the most powerful guild in the area however independent warrior groups such as the warrior of Ursen the blood eagals and clan  Frost Axe. There is also prominent organised crime in the kishla family and the Rusca Family.

History

The city was founded on the cost as a project from the first king of Aburan but wasn't truly founded till after the Kings death. The founder was once one of the Kings genrlas and was given this domain to help establish trade and act as a border city. Lord Krueger however neglected his duty Turing the place into what was essentially a gaint lawless wat camp. This lead to the city development being loose and based around the warrior class.

Points of interest

There are two main points of interest as far as the city is concerned. The great arena a battle ground if sorts for warriors to scrap yo there hearts content and the great glacier a large ocean glacier that was pulled to shore so a gaint could show of his strength to a girl. The glacier now acts as a tourist attraction and has a world famous taken known as the glaciers peak tavern that rest at the top of it l.

Architecture

Most buildings are rudimentary making use of timber and stone with thatch and clay being used as insulation. Most buildings are not built over 2 stories and built attached to preserve heat. The roads are often just dirt and gravel and wined and tangle through the city. The buildings have interlocking flat roofs.

Geography

Bearwood was located in natural opening of the first that lead onto the main beach of the Sapphire coast. This place was chosen so they had clean water from the rover that fed the ocean luber from the forst and trade and travel by sea. The city quickly expanded and encompass most of the area and nearly wiped out the forest pushing it back many a mile.

Climate

Being next to the coast in a cold climate the city is rather cold all year round but note as could as the far Western regions such as the ice fields and the capital.

Natural Resources

Bearwood has an abundance of lumber and fish but little else with there famous bears of war being imported from further west.
