Ser Willem of Tyborth is a knight of Karkovia. Knighted on the battlefield fighting against Vald forces, he is a formidable individual with considerable martial prowess and tactical expertise.
He is also a reasonable person who can be negotiated with. It would be a mistake to think of him as good, but neither is he a wantonly cruel individual. He has a job to do, and he's going to do it.
Willem hates the hot weather in the archipelago and was almost as grateful to be working from an island affected by The Patchwork as he was to find one with fewer inhabitants and better lumber.
