The Tibur Empire: From Rebellion to Rebirth

Origins (800–753 BR)

The Tibur legacy began not with nobles, but slaves. In 800 BR, a half-elf named Tibur led a rebellion against the Morrag Empire. The revolt tore through the northern slave provinces, and by 753 BR the rebels seized territory and founded the Kingdom of Tibur, naming Arcanius Tibur as its first ruler.

  • Frelimar and Caedian lords join him — the first sign of a true imperial restoration.

Legacy of Tibur

The Tibur Empire’s shadow still stretches across Platera:

  • Architecture: its aqueducts and walls still stand in Albion, Bhrytyros, and Tudor.
  • Bloodlines: countless nobles trace lineage to the Tibur dynasty.
  • Religion: the banishment of gods forever changed divine worship.
  • Languages and Law: Imperial Tiburan remains the legal tongue of scholars and magistrates.
  • Myth: some say Marcus Tibur still rules as a Devil Lord in the Nine Hells, whispering to mortal emperors from beyond.
