Scyana was born into the royal family of the Goldred's. Her mother, Elira, was a maid in service to the queen, and her father was the king whose indiscretion was swiftly buried under courtly silence. The queen knew nothing of the bastard child that was conceived in her own castle. The king showing disgust to Elira and the newborn Scyana he threw them out and outcasted them.
Early Life: Elira raised Scyana with quiet tenderness, teaching her to read using scraps of discarded parchment and whispering stories of the wonders of the world around her. But when Scyana was just five, Elira fell ill of a terrible cold and with no medicine, Scyana watched helplessly as her mother faded, leaving her truly alone.
Survival: The streets became her crucible. She learned to steal with nimble fingers and charm with a silver tongue. Her beauty and wit opened doors, but she never stayed long—trust was a luxury she couldn’t afford. She was content with that though, she had the freedom to do what she pleased. With what she steals though she still looks after the orphan children and the stray animals that she comes across knowing very well what it's like to survive alone.
