Early Life (352–372 PR)

Hrothgar was born amidst the howling storms of the Frozen North, in a clan where only strength ensured survival. From boyhood, he was taller, broader, and fiercer than his kin. At thirteen, he slew a raiding frost troll with nothing but a war axe; at sixteen, he led his first warband against southern invaders.

By his twenties, Hrothgar had become a legend. No Northman, no beast, no southern champion could best him. Bards sang that he had never once been defeated in battle.

The Path of Carnage (372–395 PR)

For decades, Hrothgar’s war banners swept across Fenris, Norlan, and even into the fringes of Dragon Kingdom. He fought countless duels, wars, and raids — and every time, his enemies fell. Kings sought to buy him, but Hrothgar laughed at coin; he fought only for blood and glory.

Despite his victories, he grew restless. He hungered not just for conquest, but for a challenge worthy of his rage.

Becoming Urmbrik’s Champion (395 PR)

Hrothgar was ambushed by a host of demons sent to break the northern tribes. Outnumbered a hundred to one, he fought for three days beneath a burning sky. His entire warband perished, but Hrothgar stood atop a mountain of corpses, drenched in blood and defiant.

When the last demon fell, the ground itself split open in rivers of molten crimson. From the flames rose Urmbrik, God Hand of Rage, Flesh, and Bone.

"You have never fallen. You have never yielded. Serve me, and you never shall."

Hrothgar accepted. His armour fused into plates of crimson steel, his flesh burned with unending rage, and his soul became Urmbrik’s eternal champion.

The Beast Mount

As reward, Urmbrik gifted him a monstrous war-beast: a Crimson Basilisk-Drake, bred in the furnaces of the Flesh Wastes. The creature’s roar splits stone, its bite crushes siege towers, and its scales glow like living magma. The beast was named Skjoldaettr (“Shield-Eater”), for it devoured the shields of entire armies in its first battle.

Together, Hrothgar and Skjoldaettr became unstoppable. Where he rides, crimson crystal erupts from the earth, and entire legions break in terror.

Now – Servant of Urmbrik and the God Hands

Hrothgar Skuldson is the Crimson Juggernaut, Urmbrik’s warlord-champion, riding at the head of berserk hosts and flesh-forged armies. His presence embodies the God Hand’s creed: strength, rage, and the eternal cycle of slaughter.

• Invincible Record: Hrothgar has never known defeat. His followers believe him unkillable, the mortal echo of Urmbrik’s endless rage.
• Goal: To one day face Ivar the Undefeated, Zonid’s immortal champion. He alone craves that duel — two beings who have never bowed, never broken.
