The Vile Hunt

Sect Philosophy

The Vile Hunt is a tiny sect of murderers that believes any animals that speak like others are blasphemous and abominations against nature. To this end, The Vile Hunt's mission is to eliminate all the animal petitioners of the Beastlands.

Primary Plane of Influence

The Vile Hunt only operates in The Beastlands and around the outskirts of Faunel, the plane's gate-town. Members may be seen in towns, but very briefly, and usually hidden or disguised for quick supply runs.

Allies and Enemies

The Vile Hunt is actively hunted for by members of The Verdant Guild for their crimes against the animal petitioners of the Beastlands. The Mercykillers and the Harmonium are also keeping an eye out for members of the Vile Hunt, but since they never leave Faunel and the Beastlands, they aren't a top priority.   Sadly, the list of allies members of the Vile Hunt can count is practically non-existant due to their reach.

Eligibility

Members of the Vile Hunt are primarily Fighters and Rogues, and cannot be of good alignment.

Benefits

All members of The Vile Hunt recieve proficiency with all simple and martial ranged weapons. They also gain proficiency their survival skill or expertise if they already have it, and traps made by them have their attack bonus and DC increased by 2. They also gain a +2 bonus to hit on their ranged attacks.

Restrictions

Due to the nature of the sect on the Beastlands, even normal animals are cautious and nervous around members of the Vile Hunt, giving members a -5 penalty on all animal handling checks and other skill checks involving animals.
