Designing the Blacksite Around the "Five Fingers"

This organizational structure tells us exactly how the blacksite would function. It's not just a dungeon with guards; it's a living facility with competing divisions and specialized personnel.

Here’s how each "Finger" would operate within the Blacksite:

• The Thumbs (Enforcers): These are the primary guard force. They patrol the corridors, manage the cell blocks, and handle all physical security and prisoner transport. They are the visible, intimidating presence. A senior "Knuckle" likely serves as the head of security.
• The Pointers (Investigators): They run the interrogation chambers, the analysis labs, and the evidence vaults. Prisoners are brought to them to have their secrets extracted. A lead "Seeker" would be the chief interrogator, a feared figure within the facility.
• The Middle Finger (Manipulators): They might not have a large permanent office, but they would have access to special, isolated cells designed for psychological manipulation and long-term breaking of prisoners. A "Twister" would be called in to handle the most resistant, high-value targets.
• The Ring Finger (Personal Guard): They would have no permanent presence here. If a "Warden" and their team show up, it's a massive deal—it means Lord McNaird himself is visiting the blacksite, likely to personally oversee the interrogation of a critical prisoner. Their arrival would put the entire facility on high alert.
• The Pinkies (Surveillance/Counterintelligence): They are the unseen eyes and ears. They operate the central surveillance room (monitoring scrying orbs, listening devices, magical alarms) and watch for any signs of internal dissent or external intrusion. The lead "Watcher" is essentially the site's spymaster.
• The Little Fingers (Informants): These are prisoners who have been turned by the Pointers or Middle Finger. They spy on fellow inmates in the general population blocks in exchange for privileges, creating an atmosphere of deep paranoia.
