Acrinore's Loaf

Acrinore's Loaf is a piece of bread thought to have been created by the God who originally brought humans into the world. This loaf, despite being older than any human who has bore witness to it, has never gone stale, molded, or seemingly aged. Due to this, it is a revered piece of historical and religious importance that is held in Acrinore's sacred temple. Many pilgrims make trips across the world just to see this unassuming loaf of bread. It is said in the scriptures of Acrinore that the bread was made before humans, and was Acrinore's very first creation. He cast it into this world because he thought it imperfect, and decided to attempt to create something even better, and that how humans were born. When humans came into the world a little while after, and began populating it, it is said that some of them stumbled upon this loaf of bread and decided to keep it and dedicate it to the god that created them. So the center piece of Acrinore's temple was created. The loaf sits in the temple, an ever present reminder that their god truly exists and that there is more beyond this world. It has weathered storms, wars, raids, and more. No matter how dire the situation seems for the temple or the priests of Acrinore, as long as this loaf sits within their temple, they know that everything will turn out fine. Once, someone attempted to steal the loaf of Acrinore. It is said that after he stole it, he was struck with tremendous guilt, so great in fact that his heart immediately stopped, and he and the loaf fell to the ground. The loaf miraculously sprang back up onto it's pedestal, a gentle reminder that none shall scorn or steal from the god of the humans, Acrinore.
