SubSeed
It is believed that each of the Great Trees are able to imbue a single seed with their entire essence upon death/end of life. The subseeds are lesser seeds that have fallen yet have some of the residual essence of the tree contained within them. These are still rare and owning one or especially gifting one is a significant thing to the denizens of that tree's domain.
