Kudjé

Nature loving, peaceful warriors whose appearances resemble the head of a horse attached to a muscular humanoid torso with digitigrade knees and hooves instead of feet. Their legs are incredibly powerful, allowing them to run great distances without using much energy. They are also naturally muscular, and a strike from one of these people can easily stun most other peoples.   Their herds tend to be found on plains, in open environments where they are free to run as fast and far as they wish. Their culture treats their ancestors as an integral part of life and caring for nature is seen as a part of their mortal duties. Due to their obsession with the spirits of their ancestors and protecting nature over civilization, some other peoples have branded them as savages, even though they prefer to avoid conflict, being able to outrun most threats.

Tradition:
Kudje believe the Celestials created 4 unique souls who are only reborn as Vahl'Kyr during times of great crisis. Due to the fel omens of their birth they have come to be known as The Harbingers. A Kudje who is born with one of these souls (death, disease, famine, war) lives a checkered life. Although the life of an A'atmon is precious, even from their first year they are feared by many for what their existence portends, causing isolation and creating ostricization.
