Summer Camp 2024 Week 2

Assignment One

I think refuge can mean many different things depending on who you ask. For my characters, they often find refuge in their friends and family. Refuge can mean a familiar routine or a beloved item. Many of my characters are not in the place they are from, but they have found a place to call home and I think that can be the greatest refuge of all.

Assignment Two

My family functions as my accountability partners because they are always asking about what I've wrote recently and what I'm working on. I love how they celebrate my successes and I don't like to let them down.
In terms of a community, I have tried different online writing groups for community and so far one hasn't stuck. For summer camp, I joined the WA Discord!

Assignment Three

In terms of styling and layout, I'm currently proud that these homework articles are readable. Since I'm brand new, I'm just happy I figured out how to change the color for my world and add in cover images. The bar is currently low and part of my summer camp will be pushing it upwards to make each article more eyecatching and well-formatted.
