Neosho Zhou
Demographics
Neosho Zhou is predominately a human city, although travelers of other species are common. The largest population of non human residents are Tieflings. The first grouping arrived here as religious pilgrims and refugees. As the population became stable and began to be tolerated, though not accepted, they attracted others. These Tieflings were often not seeking religious absolution, but a means to subside. This would grow to become a thorn in the side of the church who hold most of the power here.
The human population founded the city and have been the majority voice since that time. They also hold all of the keys of power, whether it's the church, the govern, emr, or the markets. Most are a homogeneous blend of Drisnan subjects, with the customs and norms that come with. As a consequence, most value hard work and community.
Government
Neosho Zhou is currently ruled by Earl Analias Manza, a young noble having inherited the province and responsibility from his late father. Inexperienced a devout follower of the church, he consistently turns to Cardinal Sanguia for guidance.
The church of the God of Justice already had great control here, but through the Earl, Cardinal Sanguia has become a de facto ruler. Earlier in his life he was a proud and heroic paladin. His hunt for evil and temptation has never stopped.
Districts
