Kazar

Requirements

One must be the son of the last Kazar or organize a coup, kill the current Kazar, take his place and start a new dynasty.

Appointment

Once the old Kazar dies, his son has a coronation, or a Tyenskav, to be crowned Kazar of Kvaskrav. If the Kazar had no male child, his brother, cousin or nephew rises to power, depending on who he prefers. If there are no male family members to choose from, the Kazarship goes to the Kazar's daughter who becomes the Kazarina. This has happened a surprising amount of times and most eras of prosperity for the Kravics were under a Kazarina.

Accoutrements & Equipment

The kravic crown is the symbol of the Kazar and the kravic church. Its name is Kranva zi Kvaskrav, or crown of Kvaskrav. The crown of Kvaskrav is a base with a round top split down the middle with a band going between. On that band is the symbol for both order and Tvolrevno, a triangle with six bands radiating out from the middle and connecting to the sides and corners. There is also the sash that a Kazar does not have to were the crown at all times. The sash is white with red highlights and golden lace around the edges. It is also enchanted to keep the wearer warm and allowing the Kazar or Kazarina to not wear a heavy coat whenever they go outside of a heated area. Another commonly recognised symbol of Kravic authority is the Kazdrevenya, the helm of the father, a gilded helm meant to symbolise the kravs' warlike national identity. It has the rough design of a typical Kravic war helmet, with a peaked cap trimmed with fur, but it is covered with gold leaf and several rubies are nestled in the russet fox fur.
