Overview
The Lunar Eclipse Egregore, also known in its blood-hued totality as the Blood Moon, embodies a celestial residual belief construct formed through centuries of empirical failure, symbolic displacement, and narrative repetition. It accumulates persistent fears including omens of war, famine, and regicide, marking it as a harbinger of state collapse or social upheaval. This is particularly true through the lens of consumption, in that the moon (in it's own right a cosmic ruling elite) might be devoured or assaulted by beasts or demonic entities. It represents destabilizing hierarchies and legitimacies.
