Overview

The Fan Library exists to showcase and preserve community-written works inside the insular Hyrdinden og Skorstensfejeren setting and No Safe Bite In Sweepstakes serialized narrative. This Library highlights text-based works only—everything from short-form fiction to in-world ephemera. Entries are organized by written-work format, but can be navigated using the Ctrl+F or in-table search functions to find characters. Whether you’re writing love stories, fake union flyers, or formal essays about matchstick girl parallels, if it reads—and belongs in Hyrdinden og Skorstensfejeren—it belongs here.   All fan works remain the property of their creators. Submitted content may be linked or excerpted with credit, but not altered or rehosted without permission.   The Fan Library isn’t just for “stories.” It’s a sprawl of written media in any format—print, digital, scraps, scripts, and simulations. The intention is not to limit the community's creativity, but to allow them to produce written-works in whatever format they enjoy or excel at most. If it reads, and it fits the setting? It fits the shelf.   Accepted formats include: Chats, flash fiction, short stories, novellas, novels, serialized chapters, poetry, song lyrics, personal essays, fictional essays, journal entries, diary pages, grocery lists, memos, letters, logs, interviews, testimonies, therapy transcripts, playbills, screenplays, scripts, newspaper clippings, obituaries, fake Wikipedia entries, field notes, pseudo-historical documents, archived documents, redacted files, religious texts, manifestos, propaganda flyers etc.

Content Warning

General Themes

Dead Dove Dark (DDD): Graphic violence or gore (dismemberment, torture, bodily fluids), sexual violence or non‑consensual acts, detailed self‑harm or suicide methods, intense psychological trauma or graphic descriptions of suffering.   Dead Dove (DD): Moderate violence (bruises, blood with limited gore), non‑graphic self‑harm references, darker themes (abuse, severe injury) without prolonged graphic detail.   Dead Dove Lite (DDL): Mild violence or threat (implied harm, off‑screen injury), death or loss, lasting emotional trauma, dark atmosphere or unsettling themes without explicit detail.   Dove (D): Low‑level conflict or tension (arguments, mild peril), mild emotional stakes (heartbreak, grief), no graphic imagery.   Lovely Dove (LD): Comforting or uplifting content only, romance or drama without distressing elements, suitable for all audiences.
Sexual Themes

Sexually Explicit Content (SEC): Applies to fiction containing extended, narratively significant, or visually detailed depictions of sexual acts. These scenes involve graphic physical description, direct language, or sustained erotic focus.   Non-Explicit Sexual Content (NESC): Covers fiction with implied, brief, or non-graphic sexual activity. Scenes may reference or acknowledge sex, but do so with restraint or euphemism, lacking explicit anatomical or visual description.   Sexual References (SR): Used when the content includes isolated, graphic, or vulgar references to sex (e.g., a crude joke or vivid slang) but lacks full scenes or detailed narrative focus.   No Tag: For if the only references are crass metaphors or throwaway innuendo. These are insufficient to be tagged unless part of an overall explicit tone or larger pattern of sexual content.

No AI Use: The work is entirely written, edited, and constructed by the author without any AI involvement beyond basic spelling/grammar tools (e.g. Grammarly, spellcheck).   AI-Assisted: The author used AI tools for brainstorming, structural suggestions, or rewriting/editing passages, but the content was guided and curated by the author. The narrative voice, structure, and character choices are human-authored.   AI-Drafted: The bulk of the text was initially generated by an AI language model and then edited, rearranged, or refined by a human. The author’s involvement is primarily in shaping or curating the output.   AI-Generated: The work is composed entirely by AI with minimal to no human revision. This includes direct generation of prose, dialogue, or structural content without significant editing, rewriting, or narrative framing by a human author.
