Shield
Effect
It puts up a magical shield around something. The shield will take damage first, depending on how much energy is put into the shield.
Manifestation
A fog will enshroud whatever is being shielded. After it will fade around the point. Once damaged, it will flare around the hit. You'll be able to hear a cracking, then snap similar to a branch as it breaks. Where it will dissipate.
Effect Duration
The shield spell will maintain itself, somehow taking in the magic of the land. We can't figure out why, as this is not a binding spell.
Level
It is an easy spell to go into. Men are way more likely to learn and use it, as they are the ones that need it the most.
Applied Restriction
The amount it protects is limited. So there is people who specialize in it. People can cast it rapidly to add more strength to the spell. However only a certain amount can be stored, and its largely the same.
