Binding

An experimental magic form created to bind magic to things. In theory any magic can be bound, for instance, binding fire to a wall and made to release the energy, as a trap. in reality almost nothing has worked

Effect

There have only been 3 magical effects that have been succeeded. The first successive spell will help regulate temperature. A wind like spell that maintains a 17-24°C range. It has been around the longest, and so far is the most successful of the spells. Second is a complex spell, similar to Portal magic. It will transfer sound from side of an object, to another. The quality of the sounds, and how much it transfers leaves much to be desired. And lastly is a light spell that projects the image of whats in front of it onto different surface. A promising spell, however the visual clarity is poor, needing further experimentation. A final spell, that is an offshoot of the first, and a combo of the second. It will take air from one spot and draw it into another. It's extremely limited, and weak ability have made it to be considered unfinished.

Manifestation

Softy glowing shapes are seen on the object after the spell is cast. The shape is always the same dependent on what binding effect you correctly apply. As you finish up the spell, you are almost guided into making the same shape that are now cataloged to each binding.

Source

It will initially be up to the casters. The only way they've succeeded is by tying the spell to magic of the land to full the spell. All other attempts to make a less permanent version have failed.

Effect Duration
Near perminent. It can be dispelled, but it's very hard to break the binding to the magic of the land..
Effect Casting Time
It takes time to bind your spell, and as the caster is working you'll see shapes appear as they move their hands over what they're casting upon.
Applied Restriction
For multiple reasons, not all are understood, It is hard to find the right combination of magics to bind to things.
