Druxsia Academy

The Druxsia Academy is a venerable arcane organization responsible for establishing and upholding the rules and regulations governing the use of arcane magic across the continent. Founded long before the fall of the Peloric Realm, the Druxsia Academy stands as one of the oldest and most influential institutions in Pelora.   Structure of the Druxsia Academy   The Academy is divided into three distinct divisions, each with its own role in maintaining order, advancing magical knowledge, and wielding influence across the continent.   The Council   The Council serves as the Academy’s governing body, wielding unparalleled authority over the laws of magic and its practitioners. Comprising 15 Archmages and a cadre of Arcane Diplomats, the Council crafts and enforces regulations that shape the use of arcane power across Pelora.   It is said that the Council holds more sway in Pelora than the emperors of the ancient Peloric Realm ever did, using their influence to subtly steer the decisions of current rulers across the continent. The Council is headquartered in Lanteen City, though it maintains a presence in the ruling capitals and oversees a network of guilds established in numerous cities.   The Guilds   The Guilds form the enforcement and expeditionary arm of the Druxsia Academy. This division is the most versatile, tasked with:   Protecting the Academy’s interests and assets.   Enforcing the regulations governing arcane magic.   Recruiting promising mages into the Academy’s ranks.   Advising Heads of State in Pelora through a contingent of skilled arcane advisors.   When necessary, the Guilds deploy contingents of battle mages, acting under direct orders from the Council, in support of State forces. Guild outposts are scattered throughout Pelora, with the largest and most prominent located in Vexaris, within the nation of Grimizan.   The Academic Body   The Academic Body serves as the heart of the Academy’s training and research endeavors. Working in tandem with the Guilds, this division focuses on field research, recruiting talent, and training the next generation of mages.   The primary training facility is the Nordstel Academy, located in northern Grimizan. This sprawling campus provides comprehensive education in arcane arts and serves as the epicenter for magical research.   A secondary academy operates in the capital city of Zealand, Kaishora, contributing to both the training of mages and groundbreaking research.   Beyond these academies, research stations are strategically placed across the continent, enabling the Academic Body to delve into the mysteries of magic and expand the boundaries of arcane knowledge.   Influence and Legacy   The Druxsia Academy’s reach extends far beyond the confines of its physical structures.
