General

Spores are 3 legged mushroom creatures that thrive in the darkness of forests. The walking caps are the fruiting bodies of a vast undergroudn network of living mycelium that can cover a large area. This mycelium transports nutrients and water to support unnaturally fast tree growth and can control where they grow. It has been observed to create large rings of dense trees for maximum darkness to create the perfect enviroment to grow fruiting spores to kill and capture food.

Appearance

The spores that sprout have 3 spindly legs that connect to a coloured cap. The cap's colour varies in shade but the main colour is consistent with members from the same mycelium. On rare occasions a spore will sprout will a gold coloured cap. The amount of eyes a spore has varies between 5 to 9 scattered all around the cap.

its 1 percent chance that a golden spore will be born spores will typically only become active to find corpses, but recently their agression has spiked making them go after alive creatures as well. some have even attempted to take down Steeljaws
