Cartel Will
Purpose
The last will and testament of the mob boss, Jahutt Moonbow, laid out the deeds of several high value properties and the location of rumoured treasures and secret information on several criminal operations.

Pirate Boarding
Unknown to nearly everyone, the droid carrying the will was intercepted while on transit. The files were subsequently hacked and modified to be favourable to certain parties.
Legal status
The document is only considered valid to the other syndicate bosses; who will, and have done, everything in their power to get the will back.
Given the potential inheritances involved, there was more than enough justified fear that one - or all - of the family would resort to violent and underhanded tactics to secure it. The majority share would be foundational to any enterprise.
Historical Details
Background
Jahutt Moonbow was, at the time of his death, the most powerful criminal mob boss in the Nataraja System. It was a great shock to the criminal underworld when he was assassinated in his own desert fortress by a team of unknown assailants. One of whom was reportedly a suicide bomber. None were caught.
Public Reaction
Its contents, as can be expected, would never be revealed to the public. Even acknowledgement of its existence was strictly limited to the closest confidents and operative. Anyone outside of the inner circle from the onset was hushed.
Legacy
The droid was eventually retrieved by the syndicate and delivered to its intended destination.
