Senator

A Senator is trusted to act both as a judge and legislator of the United Lands of Caelsimil Teme-Rasadar, as such they are expected to act in a way not representative of just themselves or their elctoral basis, but all of the nation.

Senators must read, write, and debate laws that come before them. Senators as judges are also expected to interpret these laws in an unbiased way and pass down appropriate punishment or reporations.

The law allows for the removal of a Senator only on two grounds; gross treason defined as an act, intentional or not, that hurts the nation, its people, or insitutions in such a way that public trust in this individual may never recover. The other is the personal law, where a Senator maybe removed from their position on the basis of great harm caused to an individual person or collective. Though charges maybe laid on these grounds both require either an act by Grand Senate supported by a high majorty, or three-quarters of the Senate.
Additionally, the Council of Faces has the ability to call for the removal of any member on any grounds- though the Council must have two agree and still pull a simple majority from the Senate to comfirm.
