1. What is the most critical lesson your character has learned from someone?
2. Does your character consider themselves a pessimist or an optimist? How does this perspective guide them when they take risks?
Alt Question: What’s one part of their personality they’re afraid to lose?
Answer at least two of the questions, please.
1.) That it's okay to trust and rely on others. Having connections with other people doesn't make you foolish or weak. He's learned this lesson at multiple points in his life, but it's often easily forgotten in darker times. He spent so many years being taken advantage of and doing the same to others that it's hard for him to believe that anyone would watch his back without having ulterior motives.
2.) Huey has a healthy sense of caution, but is fairly optimistic (usually) about everything. He's willing to take chances because he truly believes in his or his allies abilities. Besides, taking risks often comes with greater rewards.
3.) Huey would be afraid to lose his ambition. It's the trait that helped make him who he is, which is a man with fame and power. Ambition pushes him forward, even when the odds are stacked against him. He has to come out on top, he has to get what he wants, and nothing's going to stand in his way. Without ambition, he would've settled for a boring life or died in obscurity.
