Fey

[Alternative spellings: fae, faerie, fairy]

Considered by some to be a subcategory of demon, the fae are forest creatures who often have the characteristics of various animals. Their well-being is directly tied to the streams of magic around them, so most live in a series of magical forests nicknamed the Feywild. Few choose to stay in human or elven cities, and those that do usually hide their features so as not to appear unnatural.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Fey are on the shorter side of humanoid, with animalistic features. The most common is fangs, fluffy goat- or sheep- like ears and tails, or feathers around their faces. Some have claws, wings, horns, or digitigrade legs, and similar features are often shared within families.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Similar to dragons, fae do not necessarily have their own magic but can tap into the magic around them. Generally, the more animal they appear the stronger their abilities are but the more they are affected by a lack of magic.
