The Divine Recession

The largest event in the history of the world of Paravalous. This was spurned on by Gorndu Sirrana, the goddess of magic at the time. She was a powerful archmage who ascended to godhood for fear of what great power the gods had. She had seen the Hunter Plague of Daefungare Njeimdall decimate the world's population, along with the conquest led by Stormholde Kogen that led them to control most of the continent of Acipincera.   Gorndu Sirrana was able to convince the new Daefungare Iraena, as well as Iteroris and Merilee to agree, and over the course of a year, these four gods worked together to grab the other three from their temples and draw them out of the world. Gorndu Sirrana was then able to craft a magic spell that forbade the gods from materially returning to the world, only able to influence it's growth and development through signs, miracles, and their servants in the world.
